noonartsound: The Music of Germany at noon!

Meet Young Beethoven and Bach!

"With the great classic composers, we usually think of them in their prime, filled with experience and maturity. However, every artist had a youthful period as well. Along with the music, we will be looking at the cutting edge, the hottest of the hot, the hipster visual culture of the early 19th century.... a look at art just coming into popularity at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries (neo-gothic, Egyptian, neoclassical) and especially the clothing."   - Shelly Nordtorp-Madson, art historian and noonartsound speaker

Special Performance:  Cyrus Wolff, one of Dr. Chris Kachian's students, will play solo guitar music of Bach (ca.1720).

Join us at noon on Tuesday, November 3 in the O'Shaughnessy Room of the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library!   As with all noonartsound events - all are welcome - admission is free - light refreshments are available - bring your friends!
