Meet the author of a new fantasy adventure for middle grade readers, Professor Heather Bouwman. She is the author of The Remarkable and Very True Story of Lucy and Snowcap, a middle grade children's novel published in 2008 by Marshall Cavendish.
Selected as a Winter 2016-2017 Kids' Indie Next pick, A Crack in the Sea has received a starred review in Publisher's Weekly, which says "Bouwman crafts a moving narrative about family, magic,morality, the power of storytelling, and the cyclical nature of history."
